| About | Dear All: I would like introduce myself, I am artist, Liu Yu-Jung work comes about from the boundary that separates classis tradition from strict contemporary, and moves and ferments on these perennial ambiguities. a perfect example of the contemporary sensibility that unit an impeccable technique. Imagination and memory, real vision and fantasy, quotation and reverie. Liu Yu-Jung landscapes can actually be considered like some sort of poetic "meta-places'', spaces the remind us of the idea of other spaces that our memory has known in the past, and that this idea, or this memory, together preserve the idea of a closed place or rather, childhood and a journey, of Transition (the path the we have trodden to arrive where we are now) . As my coordinated the ''chain relationship'' among colors, I gained a pureness in his application of pigment, and the ability to easily render with his hands what was in his mind. ''A painting is forever; it's not just a momentary, impulsive emotion. Emotions have to be analyzed and organized before their eternal nature can be preserved.
