At the end of 1999, the Capital International Airport was restructured and Capital Airport Group Corporation was established, inheriting part of the non-aviation business and asset debt of the airport. On October 13, 1999, the State Economic and Trade Commission ratified the airport as exclusive sponsor, and thus established the Beijing Capital Airport Co. Ltd on October 15, 1999. The Corporation possesses the ownership and managerial authority of the airport. In November 1999, the Corporation trusted ADP as its consultant, which provides advice and coordination in developing the Capital airport into an air transportation center of Asian Pacific region and expanding its non-aviation business. In January 2000, The Beijing Capital International Airport Co. Ltd. issued 1, 346, 150, 000 H shares. The Corporation was listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on February 1, 2000. On May 18, 2001, approved by the former Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of China, the corporation became a foreign funded limited company, with 3, 846, 150, 000 Yuan of registered capital. The Beijing Capital Airport Group Corporation has 65 percent of share, the Airport Development f Paris 9. 99 percent and other shareholder 25. 01 percent.
