| About | Centura Watch Cases Pvt. Ltd. , was established in 1984 in Tumkur, which is 70 Kms. From Bangalore. The company started with a capacity of 60, 000 Nos. Cases per annum. Over the past 19 years, with regular expansion, to day, we have a capacity to produce 2 Million watch cases per annum. The company manufactures, stainless steel and brass cases in round and shaped variants. We have well equipped manufacturing facility consisting of Press Shop, Machine Shop, Polishing, Tool Room and Assembly. The Shops are equipped with the state of the art plant & machinery like CNC Turning Lathes, CNC Milling Machine, CNC Wire Cut EDM, CNC Hydraulic Press and other precision machines. Precision Tool Room, caters to the total requirement of the toolings In addition to that the company started with manufacturing of automobile components in the year 2003 with having 2 nos of CNC machines. Over the past three years with regular expansion process presently we are having 10 nos of CNC turning, one no Geildmeister turnmill centre, one no Geildmeister sliding headstock, hydraulic press, precission grinding machine of Paragon make and other secondary operation machines like GD Weiler lathes, Deburring machines, sand blasting machines and tumbling machine. We have full fledged design department with Auto CAD MDT, PRO-E, Inventor, PRO-E Wildfire and total design of Cases and tools and Jigs and fixture are provided to production shops. All the production activities are backed up with a strong quality department equipped with all necessary equipments. The unit is equipped with sophisticated measuring instruments like Roundnesss tester of Carlceiz make, Surface roughness tester, Profile projector with linear dimension measurement software attached, Air gauges to measure 1 micron accuracy and digital height gauges etc etc. We are an ISO 9001-2000 company and planning for TS 16949. We have a tailor made totally integrated ERP system covering all the activities of Planning, Finance, Production, Quality, Marketing and personal connected to all production shops and departments. Our present customers are STANADYNE AMALGAMATION PVT LTD, DELPHI TVS, BOSCH REXROTH (France) , WALVOIL etc etc. For automobile unit and TITAN, TIMEX, and MARESHAL INDUSTRIES (France) etc etc for cases. Further it is envisaged to go for few more special purpose machines and measuring equipments for the automobile unit. |
