| About | Zechini Gra.For was established in 1952 as LA FORNIGRAFICA SAS. The company is specialized in manufacturing bookbinding and graphic arts machines suitable for small and medium size industries. In April 1988 it turns its name and legal nature into the effective one. Zechini is the only Italian company able to offer a wide range of bookbinding and converting machines, a constant and specialized assistance, training and after sales support to the customers. Through the years Zechini has projected and realized a lot of products in the field of bookbinding and converting machinery. These products have been developed through the years with new tecnologies and new working procedures. In 1995 Zechini created the "finishing" division, in order to project, build and sell the products linked with the word of digital printing. The company became Xerox business partner with the first 3 knife trimmers with full automatic format change and in 2004 presented Millennium Book, the brand new folding-sewing machine for the production of sewed books that can be connected in line with high speed digital printing machines. The high quality of its production conquered also the foreign markets and so far more than the 60% of the machines is exported in more than 30 countries all over the world. In 2000 Zechini welcomes the opening of a branch office in Moscow. At the moment the office counts on 5 employee, both commercial and tecnicians. In 2002 opened the branch office in Atlanta (USA) in order to better face the needs of the North American market. In 2004 opened the office in Spain. The new industrial building of 1000 square meters hosts a show room, a warehouse, an attendance and repair department. In Italy the head office is situated in a building of 5000 square meters. During the last few years the research and development department has been increased both in human resources and new technologies. That allowed, and still allows the company to study and project highly innovative products that fit properly Zechini's worldwide customers. Moreover in order to answer as proper as possible the questions of its customers, Zechini has always headed at the "personalization" of its machines. Zechini's customer driven philosophy has allowed the firm to gain a constant and continues growth in Italy as abroad and a costant development in the market of bookbinding and converting.
