| About | Wendt & Kuehn was established in Gruenhainichen, Germany in 1915 and is since then a family-run business. Each of our figurines is carefully hand painted by Wendt & Kuehn's artists and appears in its original design as it was created by Grete Wendt back in the early 1920s. Today, the brand name Wendt & Kuehn is synonymous with age old tradition in design and craftsmanship of wooden figurines. The "Gruenhainichen Angels," with their trademark eleven white dots painted on green wings, are well known by collectors all over the world, as well as the other playful figurines and marvelous music boxes. |
