| About | UNIQUE Plastics Design COMPANY PROFILE: Unique Plastics Design is a company established by a group of young graduates. So far our group consists 5 members (3 mechanical engineers, 1 hardware engineer, 1 software engineer). Specializing in product design and development, we provide creative ideas during design and development processes, especially in consumer products, in order to achieve product optimization in terms of cost, quality, manufacturability and deliverability. With over 5 years of experiences in product design and development industries, [professional knowledge], [passions to work], and [trustworthiness] are our company principles. So far, our fruitful products that managed enter into market and sales are home and office telephone, cordless telephone etc. Once client entrust a project for us, we will utilize a high-end 3D software (CATIA) to make detailed product design and modeling. We are also expertise in using 2D software (AutoCAD, or ICAD) to do design study and drafting during development. Not only this, in order to maximize client profit, our engineer always thinking cost minimized activities. For example, to abolish part quality problems during manufacturing, a lot of computer CAE simulations (mold flow, strength analysis, light analysis etc) will be conducted by our well-trained engineer to minimize the quality problems. Our group is expertise in mechanical product development. The details development process may as following: Internal layout/concept,costing, ID refinement, details 2D design & 3D modeling, design review, prototype order, prototype assembly and evaluation, 3D data refinement, tooling order, tooling trial sample evaluation, part approval, finished good assembly. Basically, our group development stages can be divided as: ID-->prototype order; prototype order-->tooling order; tooling order--> tooling evaluations and production/ finished goods assembly. We are flexible to adapt client project requirements in terms of schedule and/or work scope as according to above mentioned development stages. Nevertheless we do have experienced and capable partners in hardware field (PCB design and layout), and software programming.
