Taurus Maintenance and Painting Services Corporation is a power plant general maintenance and industrial painting services company incorporated and started operations in April 1999 as CFM-YI Ventures, Inc. It changed its name to Taurus Maintenance in July 2005 to correspond to current ownership structure. It has so far accomplished a total of 113 projects, 50 of which were maintenance related while the 63 were industrial and decorative painting projects. Its vast clientele base include: Chevron Geothermal of Indonesia in the Island of Java for overhauling of 4 steam turbine generators rated at 56-110 MW; Marubeni Energy Services Corporation in Mt. Apo, North Cotabato, Philippines for the general overhauling of its 52 MW Unit No. 1 and repainting of the cooling tower basin of its Unit No. 2; CalEnergy-Leyte Operations in Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines for overhauling of at least 7 of its total 10 geothermal turbine generators rated from 20-77 MW; PASAR and Philphos in Isabel, Leyte; Fairchild Semiconductor and East Asia Utilities Corporation in Mactan, Cebu; Cebu Private Power Corporation in Cebu City, Toledo Power Company in Toledo, Cebu and Orica Nitrates, Inc. In Negros Oriental all in the Philippines for various industrial and decorative painting works.
