About | Company Profile Tyrec ltd. is the leading tire recycling company in Israel. The company was established in 2007 following the Israeli legislation of waste tire recycling. Tyrec ltd is a private company owned by a small group of investors. Main share holders are Mr. Samuel Zisser from London U.K and Sefi & Yishai Mor From Tel-Aviv Israel. Total investment to date: 60 M NIS (app. 15 million USD) The manufacturing plant is based on a fully automated tire recycling line installed by MTB France. The total capacity of the line is over 8 tons/hour for shredding TDA and over 3 tons/hour for manufacturing rubber granules. The company handles: Tire Collection services from over 600 garages and tire shops across the country. Sorting and exporting tires for reuse Shredding and marketing of tire derived aggregates (TDA) for various infrastructure applications Manufacturing and distributing tire derived fuel (TDF) products Manufacturing SBR rubber granules and powder Manufacturing products of recycled rubber. Since its foundation in 2007 Tyrec ltd has processed over 20,000 tons of waste tires during the first year of operation over 25,000 tons during the second year of operation, and over 30,000 tons during the third year. The quantities above represent some 70% of the total amount of waste tires in Israel. Tirecs manufacturing processes are certified and comply with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standards. Tirecs product range varies from different sizes of SBR rubber granules to several types of rubber products for various markets. Our product line includes Rubber tiles, anti slip mats, traffic safety products and agricultural products. Tyrecs end products are sold under the brand name Gumitech.
