| About | TONGYA TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY CO LTD, founded in 1969, a joint venture between a Taiwanese company and SAXA (former Tamura) in Japan, is dedicated to providing reliable public terminals, services and total solutions in Telecommunication and Display industries. In 1970, Tongya proudly announced the first coin-operated payphone in Taiwan. So far, over 300,000 sets of various models from Tongya have been globally installed and perfectly operated. In 1990, Tongya diversified into IC Card payphone and IC Card manufacturing. In 2000, with system integration, we started designing, manufacturing and installing over 1,000 sets of Kiosk and ATM systems in Taiwan. In 2002, penetrating into Internet business, we launched Internet access devices, like VoIP phones and line adaptors. In 2002, both 15" and 17" TFT-LCD monitors were successfully launched with the focuses on touch-screen and customer-designed open frames. To expand Tongya product line in the Kiosk field, Tongya launched Metal Keyboards, Metal Mice an Track Balls in the year of 2003. At the same year, Tongya also developed customized color TYW-251 Coin Payphones with fashion appearance. In 2005, VoIP Payphones and WiFi Payment Terminals were coming out to meet worldwide customers' expectations. All our products have been created through the state-of-the-art planning and designing stages. The quality of the products is controlled strictly by IQC/QC/QA teams and the manufacturing process complies with all the regulations of ISO9001.
