Thessalika Syskevastiria ''Melissokipos'' is a novel packaging unit for apiculture products created in Larissa-Greece in 2003. It is the first packaging unit for products of apiculture in Thessaly and in all Central Greece that packaging first quality Greek honey by applying a quality assurance and product safety code on a basis of HACCP en ISO 22000 / 2005 system and ISO 9001 / 2000 certified by WCS / UKAS and for Organic products from BIOHELLAS. Honey, in raw form, is collected by professional producers in selected mountainus froral areas and pine forests of Central and Northern Greece. The flavors of mountainous floral honeys are mixed in specific proportions with those from pine forests, with the end result being a honey unsurpassed in flavor and aroma. The plant's chemical laboratory checks the final product with the necessary chemical analyses so that the honey reaching consumers is guaranteed and of exceptional quality (in terms of taste and measurable by instruments) as befits the purest and most nutricius product given us by mother nature. Company products are distributed on the Greek and international markets under the brand name ''Melissokipos'' in glass containers (100gr-920gr) , as well as in 470gr PETsqueezy containers. There is also a whole range of products of ''honey with nuts'' in beautiful glass containers (in a shape of amforae and clay jars) for tourist areas. It is also packaged in large (3-5-15Kgr) containers for use in Catering-Horeca. The new product is the famus ''Thymian and mountain blossoms'' Greek thyme honey from Greek Islands in 380gr glass container. |
