Sun Sang Chemicals Processing Co Ltd, founded in 1980, initially started with recycling of polystrene (PS) mainly for the usage of video cassette tape (VHS) housing. As the technology and living style changed from time to time, the demand of VHS has been declined and video compact disc (VCD) replaced VHS as a trend which brought us into engineer plastics. We began to investigate how to recycle polycarbonate (PC) scrap from CD or DVD into reprocessed material which can be made into VCD in 2000. Our capacity has been also increased from 200 MT per month in 2001 upto 900 MT per month in 2005.
