| About | Steelway was established in 1928 at the Queensgate Works site in Wolverhampton. We presently have three operating divisions and two manufacturing plants based in Wolverhampton and West Bromwich, and employ over 150 people. With an annual turnover in excess of 13 million pounds sterling, we manufacture products to the highest standards and specifications, with our customers having the assurance of our expertise, knowledge and experience. Our sales and design functions are equipped with the latest technology systems available, with 3D CAD design facilities in conjunction with communication and IT systems we are able to give our customers a rapid response to enquires and orders. We continue to invest in our fabrication facilities, with plant and equipment, robotic welding systems, automatic laser cutting and CAD/CAM. The company holds BSI accreditation and certification to BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and PAS99. The company also holds a number of Kitemark Licenses and a number of other system and product certifications. As part of our commitment to sustainability we work with local suppliers for raw materials. Some of our products are manufactured from mild steel which is made from >75% recycled materials which is in itself 100% recyclable. We also support local education and our community by training and employing local people. |
