| About | Sin Huat Press (Melaka) Sdn. Bhd. Was incorporated in 1971 under the name of SIM Huat Press to venture into stationery job printing such as letterhead, vouchers and other simple jobbing. The company goes was originally sited on a rented premise at Kampung Jawa, Melaka operated with one colour prininting machine assisted by staff force of fifteen. In 1994, in view of constraints of factory size due to business expansion, the company decided to have its own factory. Which sited on a 8, 400 square feet land located in Malim Industrial Park. The company's name was changed to its present name in 1997 for better reflect its expansionary programme and to ensure business as a going concern. In 1997, the company stepped into another milestone when they embarked into series of heavy capital expenditure to change their business strategies from stationery job printing to publishing and printing packaging boxes for user of various factories ranging from general food, bakery, and confectionery, electronic, gloves and etc. Since then, they have increased their products range into colours packaging boxes, paper bags (SOS, flat) , paper food base boxes and tray, laminate fluting boxes, printing of company annual report, electronic instruction manual, offset colour label, silk screen PVC boxes. Invested the slitting machine to sheet with various dimension, clean room interleaf bleached or kraft paper or spacer as the interlayer between leadframe. Right now, the company had expanding a new product which is food grade paper bag. The company has upgraded its machine into six colours printing press and other highly automated technology machine to relieve the operator from many routine manual tasks in order to increase production capacity and quality. To-date, the company is equipped with nine units of printing press, six units Sugano auto and manual die-cut machine, 3 units of glueing machine, 2 units of plate processor machines, 8 units of high precision power press to support stamping interleaf paper or spacer, one unit OPP + PVC window patching machinery. Its offset printing press consisted of six colours Mitsubishi Daiya III, Ryobi 1 & 2 colours offsets press, GTO Offset Press. The investment in 6 colours and 4 colours printing machineries will enable them to print high quality sophisticated packaging boxes and will further increase its production capacity in order to satisfy its customer. In 2000, the company acquired additional land adjoining to its factory to enlarge its factory to total of 150, 000 square feet. The total staffs have aslo increase to 140 above and 24 hours daily operation to cater for the production needs. The company now is certified with UL-Underwriters Laboratory Ind and ISO9001: 2000 for International Quality System and 14000 for Environmental System with the management commitment and dedication of their staff, the company is confident of serving its customer well and ensuring a consistent supply of high quality product.
