| About | SHEP was started in January of 1990 with one slitting machine and began selling release liners. Our specialty was in processing narrow width liners, rewinding and slitting and selling to the Bag manufacturers. Shep added to its line of products selecting from other suppliers and added these to the line. Eventually, to meet the demand for all plastic construction tapes from plastic bag manufactures, we began to distribute all plastic construction tapes. As we saw our business for these products continue to grow, we began to manufacture our own proprietary line of all plastic construction and paper liner tapes. To meet the demand for spooled tapes and release liners, a 4-position bobbin winder replaced a single position winder in 1997 and a 16 position bobbin winder was added in January of 1999. We offer an extremely economical line of tapes that is not only competitive with U. S. manufacturers but also with most overseas competitors. SHEP has a reputation for innovation and creativity for providing quality products into the market we have chosen. Shep's line of tamper evident tapes and films have developed a world wide reputation having the best quality tamper evident features in the industry. Products have been approved for use by Brinks International and other armored car services the world over. Service, quality and consistency have become the most important mission of the SHEP Company. Our staff is able to provide quality assistance to bag manufacturers in English, German, and Spanish. |
