| About | With a surface of nearly 4000 sqm square meters, we are one of the finest quality producers in Spain of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We have an average of 12 to15 workers, working in a factory size of over 400 sqm and a 2 warehouses of 250 sqm each. Offices and meeting rooms are located above the factory. Are annual production capacity is nearly of two and a half million litres (2. 5 million L) of Extra Virgen Olive Oil, which comes out to be around ten million kilograms of olives on average. Since 2006 we are ISO 9001 2000 BVQI certified, covering all the manufacturing process, reception of the olives, process of turning them to oil, filtering the oil before bottling, bottling and selling of the oil in bulk or cans. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil brand name Puente Sierra is produced from the picual olive type, manually picked, from both the olive trees in the valleys as well as those in the mountainous region. The picual olive is what gives our Extra Virgin Oilve Oil the natural goldish-green colour it has and that is why it is called in some places liquid gold. Only the most natural methods are used for filtering and bottling the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which enables us to preserve all the natural taste and health properties from olive. Our many years of experience in this field have enabled us to achieve various prices both inside and out side our country: - 1991: Awarded 3rd prize for the Quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, at the International Olive Oil Fair, EXPOLIVA. . - 1994: Awarded 3rd prize in the VI National Tender (competition) of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting celebrated in Montoro during the month of May. - 2007: Finalist in the competition for Quality of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Gran Picual, held at the International Olive Oil Fair, EXPOLIVA. Our standard bottles or cans are 500 ml glass bottle, 1, 00 L PET bottle, 2, 00 L flasks, 5, 00 L flasks and 5, 00 L cans. Other bottling is available upon request as well as OEM brand. |
