V. is a Mexican company dedicated to fabricate a cone settler useful for water treatment (as a clarifier, a primary and secondary slurry thickener) and in the mineral industry as a thickener. Its very small footprint makes it ideal for customers having limited space; also, it is better than the lamella settler in terms of specific capacity. It does not need tanks for chemical conditioning. It can concentrate sludges for water treatment to more than 10% solids whereas other settlers only get up to 4% . The company also installs complete water treatment plants. Recent experience is to treat water effluents from mines. Also, several cone settlers are being built to improve conventional water management in concentrator plants for the mining sector. Particularly important in this application is the 'paste' nature of the slurries obtained from the cone settler. |
