Polyterafluoroethyene (PTFE) is majorily used for the treatment of fastners in OIL & CHEMICAL industries. . In operational tests, PTFE coated connectors have out-performed all other in aggressive environments such as offshore oil platforms, where salt spray and the constant lapping of the sea waterr did not have any noticable effect. Our ptfe (teflon / xylan) COATING WILL HAVE UNIFORM THICKNESS OF 20 + 5 MICRONS WITH THE WORKING TEMPERATURE RANGE OF 50 TO + 250 Degree Celcius. We are specialised in manufacturing high tensile fasteners of all grades speciallly ASTM 1 193 GR. B7 / ASTM A194 GR 2H. PTFE dramatically alter and improve the functioning and life span of many products associated with the chemical process industry. Used on standard industrial fasteners, PTFE provide performance characteristics equaling or exceeding those of galvanized, cadmium plated, aluminized, "moly" coated and other premium types of studs. PTFE is formulated to provide optimum low torque, wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. PROPERTIES OF PTFE (Xylan / Teflon) Coating: Low friction (as low as 0. 055) . A working temp is-217 Degree C to + 260 Degree C. Excellent corrosion resistance. Unusual wear and abrasion resistance. Resistance against salt-water, sunlight and weather. Singularly tough adhesive.
