Our company has 167 workers, among whom more than 45% are professional personnel, 3 technical divisions, 2 experiment factories, 1 oil-spill emergency response service sub-company and a technical consultation sub-company. Our company is mainly engaged in techniques and equipment for marine oil-spill control, special purpose ships for environment protection with relative services such as installation, consultation and training. Our company also produces protecting coating. Our company has also developed an Oil Spill Recovery System, which includes oil-spill and floater (solid garbage) recovering ships, an inflatable boom, a solid floatation boom, a fire-resistant boom, a sorbent boom, a silt protector, a disk skimmer, a rope mop skimmer, a weir skimmer, a vacuum skimmer, a belt skimmer, a brush/drum skimmer, a floating oil bladder, a portable oil tank, an oil dispersant and spraying device and an absorbent pad. This system has been widely used in harbors, docks, oilfields, refineries, petroleum-chemical plants, and offshore petroleum platforms. This system was popularized in the whole country by National Science and Technical Committee in 1993. The system has gained 12 national patents. Our products cover our country and have been exported abroad. Floating oil recovering vessels, developed by us in 2000, fill the technical blank in spill field. Our company was praised as "Shandong Ten Outstanding Environmental Protection Enterprise" and "Qingdao High and New Technology Enterprise" in 1995.
