The PPIC or the Pennisetum Purpureum International Corporation started as a company which was engaged in the planting and trading of napier grass or the pennisetum purpureum (scientific name of napier grass). This grass was a high nutrient grass and is responsible for feeding cattle especially those that generate prime beef (kobe beef, etc). After a number of months in operation, the company decided to expand its resource trading, and not just to confine to trading the napier grass, it has decided to venture into wood (mahogany and gemelina) and coconuts (oil, husks, other coconut products). |
