Certainly, Peru is a country with a large textile industry background, long before the emergence of the great Inca Empire. Ancient societies were use to weave beautiful fabrics, the most outstanding culture was Paracas, between approximately 600 BCE and 175 BCEs; whose mantles are well admired until now. Nowadays Andean Peruvians still weave sheep and alpaca wools to make the beautiful mantles called LLIKLLA in the native Quechua, which is a colorful fabric, dyed with natural tinges.
