About Oregon Factory Shop started as an antique furniture dealership in 2001. Shortly afterwards the business was re-focused to design and manufacture antique style fine furniture masterpieces at our George-based factory. When you browse through our factory showroom you will immediately see why we regard ourselves as custom designers and manufacturers of fine furniture.

While proudly dealing in antique reclaimed timber we believe that each piece, from the raw timber to final product, is unique in every respect. When you finally decide to trade your modern-styled kitchen for that classic Cape Country-styled living and cooking space, Oregon Factory Shop offers a highly personalised and professional service. We have the timber, skills and experience to transform your home interior into something warm, liveable, richly textured and undoubtedly classic.

After 10 years the business has been taken over by new owners, Max, Bevan and Ryan Oerder, who are committed to quality and customer service. They are continuing with the traditional style furniture and intend expanding the business so as to make this classic style available in an even wider range and to a wider base.

We specialise in direct sales of classic antique style custom designed furniture from our George based factory. We also manufacture and install custom made Oregon and Baltic pine kitchen interiors.

At Oregon Factory Shop the emphasis is on reproduction, using primarily recycled Oregon and Yellowwood antique timber. Our design is distinctly reminiscent of the popular Cape Country and Cape Cottage Styles. Our commitment is to quality craftsmanship from the initial manufacturing stages to our signature luxuriously finished masterpieces.

During the early 20th century timber was far more commonly used in the construction of homes and furniture than it is today. What is salvaged from old buildings today illustrates that Oregon pine, also known as Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga sp.) and Baltic pine (Pinus sylvestris) were the chief sources for imported timber.

If you are a interested in B2B relationships please feel free to get in touch with us as we are always open to wholesale to registered furniture dealers as well as discuss possible export opportunities.
