| About | Northrup Incorporated was a leader in the solar energy business in the 1970s. It was sold to Atlantic Richfield (ARCO), but the name was bought back in 2006 by the original founder, Lynn L. Northrup, Jr. It has been pursuing research on a patented (2008) system, and is presently incubating a new high-tech system which may lead to a spin-off company.
