| About | Developed from Cixi Electronic Component Plant, Ningbo Longkang Intelligent Instrument Co., Ltd. was established in 1997. Longkang is one of the earliest companies engaging in the design and production of IC water meters in China. Longkang first began as a plant focusing on the production of intelligent valves and intelligent card sockets and then developed into a high-tech company engaging in the research, manufacture, and marketing of water meters and valves. Longkang is the only producer in China that can design and produce all parts for IC water meters such as electric circuits, electric valves, mechanisms, and management systems. Owning 20 patents, Longkang designed and produced the first lithium powered water pipe valve, battery supplied large caliber valve, elctromotor driven controller and the first large caliber valve driven by low consumption electromotor. At present, Longkang designs and produces 17 series and 108 types of whole-set products and components including IC meters for cold, hot or pure water, remote transmitted water meters, IC outdoor installing water meters, large caliber water meters, water force controlling valves and inducing hydrants. By the year 2002, the Longkang Integral IC water meter had passed the evaluation of the Ministry of Construction P.R. China, and the result of the evaluation was that the product had reached the highest level of technique nationwide. In 2004, the product was ranked as "Ministry of Construction P.R. China evaluated, the preferred extendable leading technological product in 2004" and "Ministry of Construction P.R. China recommended, the leading technology applied in small towns in 2004". In September 2004, the company launched the construction of a 18,000 square meter workshop and in December 2005, the construction finished, and put into production in 2006, a great deal of new equipment was brought to the workshop. We are the biggest intelligent water meter manufacture in China at present. Through 9 years practice, Longkang now has a mature quality guarantee system. Longkang has 250 testing units and various performance experiment equipment. Longkang also self-developed many kinds of checking and testing facilities. Longkang is the first company using fully data based results as the way to secure quality perfection, which efficaciously guarantees our IC water meters' reliability and stability. Since 1997, our company has produced fittings, including basic meters, valves, controllers for many intelligent water meter companies and provided meter OEM service for many intelligent water meter company. In 2002, the company launched intelligent water meters branded "Longkang", from manufacturing to branding. In August 2004, our marketing service center was founded in Beijing, broadening the sale and service teams, and increasing the brand promotion. At present, we have finished selling 1,000,000 intelligent water meter and fittings and extensive applications in Beijing, Shandong, Shanxi, Northwest China, Northeast China, Jiangsu, Hebei and our customers are spread all over China.
