Suction dredging is presented as part of the homestay venture and is available to those who would like to learn this entertaining venture. We also teach hand methods of mining, panning and hand sluicing at areas of interest around our home base. Four wheel driving to places mined in the early years is a must part of our homestaying. The places that we go to can only be acessed by 4WD and cameras are needed for these tours. We offer Christchurch / Queenstown / Dunedin airport pick up drop off service.
