| About | Multi trade group started its operations in 1989 in Pakistan by the name of marekh (pvt) ltd. The main operations revolved around chemicals and industrial raw materials. However, a certain degree of diversity was present right from the beginning with a plastic manufacturing unit under the same umbrella. Today, marekh stands strong and is one of the lagest suppliers of industrial raw materials and chemicals in Pakistan. Furthermore, it has also become the largest supplier for oil refineries for additives. In 1995, marekh grew stronger and as any emerging business started expanding. The result of this expansion was multi trade ltd, which started its operations in sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Multi trade ltd, started with a few products in hand but soon emerged in many different dimensions. The start of the operation was from being the largest supplier for safety matches in UAE. Multi trade ltd with an added advantage of being present in a spot market such as Dubai, soon added many products under their umbrella. Multi trade group also has to its credit iftekhar ahmed trading which deals in foodstuff and trading of tissue papers. Iftekhar ahmed trading is present in the main foodstuff market in AL ras, Dubai. With its presence multi trade group now has another identity in Dubai market. As a further expansion of multi trade group with an objective of increasing the diversity in the business multi-tech studios was launched in 2002. Multi tech studios a division of multi trade is an it outfit providing web enabled and multi media solutions to various companies in the middle east. Based in UAE, mts has to it's credit launching an exciting mobile portal called UAE mobiles that is providing value addition services to mobile users all over UAE. Gradual expansion of multi trade group LED to the evolvement of multi textiles. Main products of multi textiles include apparel, home textiles & non woven made UPS.
