Rick Garland President Moose Log Homes offers log in 8", 10", and 12". diameters.Moose Log Homes Logs are machined round, then double tongue and grooved with saddle-notched corners. They are end-notched in windows and door openings. We pre-cut them for any floor-plan. The logs are all fastened together with completely threaded thru-bolts. Thru-bolts can be tightened as the logs settle, allowing all the logs to settle evenly. We place two strips of foam tape between each row of logs, and a foam gasket between each saddle. We cut our logs from live trees. You get a fresh, clean, white logs. We use Eastern White Pine. The log poles can be milled or hand-peeled. We also offer 2" X 6" tongue and groove and ridged foam for roof insulation. Local lumberyards or home centers can supply you with the rest of the materials you would need. They can usually deliver the materials to your job site for considerably less money than from a Log Home company.
