| About | MONRIO was established in 1996, and started promoting energy efficient products in lightings and power. The company initiated the importation of compact fluorescent lamps from China. Two years later the company become part of the marketing arm of Sylvania Electronic Control System, Inc. (formerly Motorola Lighting Inc. ) from Illinois, in 1998 and promoted high efficient electronic ballast in the market. The company later worked side by side with Osram Philippines and extensively promoted Sylvania ECG in the local market. Monrio as a whole was known in the promotion of 32w fluorescent lightings and made several lighting retrofitting projects. Today, MONRIO is again promoting another energy efficient product known as ELAMPS in our market. ELAMPS is energy saver, electrode-less lamps, that promises long life and environmental safety.
