The company was started by first generation entrepreneurs, with sound technical and analytical skills. The name Mechartes is combination of two English words 'Mechanical' and 'Arts'. The company strives to infuse mechanical engineering with artistic vigor. The name is also inspired from the name of French mathematician turned philosopher Rene Descartes.
