MARKIN leads the world's small diameter steel tubing manufacturers, producing the highest quality steel tubing for 50 years. Our mills produce welded low carbon steel tubing to a variety of specifications including SAE J-356, SAE J-526, ASTM A-513 type 2, ASTM SA 214 and A178. Our tubing is available in plain, copper flash or Galfan coated finishes. Markin's proprietary Galfan coating process creates a corrosion preventive layer comprised of 95% zinc and 5% aluminum that protects the tubing. In addition, aluminum-rich epoxy paint is usually applied on top of the Galfan coating for a superior corrosion-fighting bond-available in either gray or black top coats. Once applied, the tubing is then cured in an oven to set the coating surface.
