About Manyata curio shop is an art and craft shop based in Kenya which is set up in non- profit making group basically to support street children and orphan. These company was set up in the year 2003 when the rate of the children in the street started rising here in our local town streets in naivasha. Little was not any way to support these children than to set-up a business that will enable us to cater for these little innocent African child! For every item purchased from our shop a greater percentage goes for these children. Currently about fifty orphans are schooling by getting your support in buying our crafts. Others are now housed and are provided in their daily needs while they are awaiting for the age of starting the school. They are feeling the parental love even though they have not their parents and enjoying their rights.



In manyata we produce and sell different varieties of art to all parts of the world. We have served customers from America, Bermuda, Brazil, UK, Singapore, Australia, etc we sell: -

V soapstone- animal carving, eggs, hearts, abstracts, plates, candleholders etc

V wood carvings- animal carvings, masks, candleholders, bowls etc

V copper work

V basketry etc

V we use local skills and labor in the creation of our products. Labor is plentiful, skilled and cheap in Africa. We use this to produce inexpensive but very high quality products like handcrafted beaded sandals/flip-flops, beaded bracelets, leather belts, fashion belts, bone/horn jewelry, hand-woven sisal and leather bags/totes, and even home decor like wood/stone sculptures, mirrors, hand painted stone penholders, decor plates, bowls etc.
