| About | Maison de l Orfevre manufactures Metal Cremation Urns since 1984 and everything is built at our shop in Quebec City. All Urns are hand made by local artists. You can see all our current models on Alibaba.com. We build Standard Urns, the ones that are meant to be buried with the ashes or stored in an enclosed Columbarium. These models are .015 (28ga) thick and can be offered whether with Notch-in lid or Screw-on lid. These metal urns are Bronze Plated and have a plastic protection on it to avoid scratches during transport and handling. We also build Select Urns for open Columbarium. They are made of Solid Brass, Bronze or Stainless Steel. The metal is .064 (16ga) thick and is welded and polished (not glued). The sides and back can be painted oxidized brown (or to customers choice) and a tin decoration is fixed on the front (a choice of different decoration is offered). We can also design and customize to customers need (size, colors, finish, decoration, etc.). Should you asked for a custom urn, a sample could be made and shipped prior for approval (some fees applies for sample). However, we strongly suggest that you order first models that are already design.
