| About | Company Profile The company is based in Satna (India) and was founded in the year 1965 by Late Mr. Tillumal Digwani. Since then, It grown many folds in the last 5 decades with dedication and professionalism. It is famous for export quality brand Painama Bidi. Product A bidi (also spelled beedi or biri) is a traditional handmade cigarette / cigar made of tobacco wrapped in a tendu leaf (Diospyros Melonoxylon) and secured with colored thread at one end. Tobacco content in bidies is 10-20 percent and, unlike regular cigarettes, bidies do not contain added chemicals. Process and quality check We take special care in the selection of tobacco & bidi leaves (tendu leaves) , processing of tobacco, rolling of bidies and above all in the quality control of the product. Manufacturing of Painama bidi cigarette initially consist up of procuring best quality hand-picked bidi leaves from Madhya Pradesh and tobacco from Gujarat. Tobacco is then blended in desirable proportions to provide satisfied smoking pleasure and is hand rolled in the bidi leaves. After the bidi cigarettes are rolled and sorted, they are roasted in charcoal fire in a specially designed roasting chamber for a specific time to obtain the unique flavor. A quality control check is put through every stage. Each batch of bidi cigarettes are tasted by experts. Once the desired quality, taste and flavor is achieved, they are dispatched on its onward journey to market. No chemicals or additives are added.
