| About | Miyagi prefecture is located 300km north-east of Tokyo, and is in the middle of Tohoku district. It is famous for farming and fishing industries; so safe and delicious farm products such as Miyagi rice is produced here and there is one of the three major fishing grounds-which has large fish catches. In the industrial field, production of electrical machinery or metal is popular, and our R&D in the area of science and technology is active in cooperation with topclass research institutes like Tohoku University in Japan. We Miyagi International Business Promotion Association is a group dedicated to promote international business of companies in Miyagi prefecture. There are branch offices in Dalian-China, and Seoul Korea. By giving exhibition for business in Dalian or Shanghai regularly, we support local companies in Miyagi.
