| About | Kijenge Animal Products Ltd (KAP) is a private company limited by shares under the provision of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 212) of Tanzania. The company was incorporated on 3rd September 1984 with the primary objective in Agro-processing business. The company is looking for project joint venture partners, equity partners, financiers, and raw materials suppliers. Existing facilities include: a 30t / 24h feed mixing plant, a 75t / 24h Buhler maize mill, a 560, 000 birds per year poultry farm, a 300bph poultry abattoir and a vegetable farm. Our associate company deal in sausages and meat processing. Short and long term plans on programme: 1) Modernization and expansion of exisisting facilitites; 2) Establishing of a feedlot system for cattle beef, sheep and goats; 3) To establish poultry parent stock and install a hatchery; 4) Establishing of pig breeding and fattening farm; 5) Indigenous chickens production; 6) Installation of slaughterhouses for beef, sheep, goats and pigs; 7) Installation of poultry processing and poultry further processing plants; 8) Fortified maize flours and functional food production; 9) Shrimp farming; 10) Large-scale commercial farming to produce maize, cereals, soybean and safflower, bio-fuel crops, etc. ; 11) Agro-forestry (planting of medicinal trees, plants and shrubs; fruit trees, softwood, and etc. ) .
