About | Jointiff Ltd is formed by a group of engineers who are dedicated to the education of renewable energy. We manufacture wind turbines and related tools for students to learn the wind power technology in a controlled environment. WindLab Junior is the first wind turbine designed by Jointiff in 2004. 3 Phase AC generators and Polypropylene sheet blades are used in the wind turbines that enable students to do experiments with a desk fan as the wind sources. Students can use any available sheet materials to make their custom blades for evaluating the output power of turbines. Blade parameters such as numbers, sizes, shapes and materials of the blade can be evaluated. The WindLab Junior bundles with a Light and Music Module for the students to see that wind energy has been converted by the wind turbine to electric energy in the form of light and sound. In 2009, we designed another wind turbine, WindPitch Profiled blades, similar to that used on aeroplanes, are used on this wind turbine. The pitch of these blades can be adjusted. Therefore, more blade parameters can be evaluated. Through the use of profiled blades and appropriate blade pitches, the output power of wind turbine is increased by several times. Our WindCharge Plus wind turbines can also be used for charging rechargeable batteries for remote devices. By connecting our wind turbines and Solar Panels to our Energy Station with rechargeable batteries, a renewable energy station can be formed. The energy stored in the batteries can then be used to charge the Lithium battery of mobile phone with our Mobile Phone Charger. We also developed measuring tools for the evaluation of renewable energy systems. Our remarkable Energy Monitor measures the Voltage, Current, Power and Energy delivered to the Load. The rotating speed of the wind turbine is also displayed in RPM (Revolution Per Minute). With this tool, you can compare the performance of the system when the parameters are changed. |
