About | Founded in 1958, we are a large-scale state-owned company focusing on the production of chloro-alkali chemicals, agrochemicals, fine chemicals and steam power. Located in Hui'an city, Jiangsu Province, we have facilities covering an area of 720,000 square meters, and employ 2,600 staff members; including 370 technicians in engineering and 280 in other fields. Outputting 100,000 tons of caustic soda annually, we can also offer more than ten other chloro-alkali products, insecticide, herbicide and fungicide, and plant growth regulator. Having total fixed assets worth USD30,000,000, in 2002 our sales turnover exceeded USD50,000,000; over 20% of which was generated by export trade. With around USD8,000,000 allocated for development of new products every year, our provincial-level R&D institute comprises a simulative laboratory, trial laboratory and analysis center. We also have a first-class quality supervision center, and well-coordinated utilities. The latter of these include a 110KVA transformer substation, thermo-electric plant, water purification equipment, refrigerated storage area, a waste water treatment center and a waste residue incinerator. Ensuring that our series are manufactured in accordance with international standards, we were the first domestic company to develop the product Buprofezin. For this achievement, we received a 'National Science & Technology Progress Award' from the Ministry of Chemical Industry. Meanwhile, being the sole manufacturer of Hexachlorocyclopentadiene (HCCP) on an economic scale in China, we were among the first companies to produce Ethephon plant regulator. Currently 4,000 tons of this product is being exported to clients in Western Europe, Australia and the USA every year. Having been issued a provincial scientific prize for developing a process for producing caustic soda from brine, in 1998 we were also certified as meeting ISO9002 standards. Additionally, over the past 40 years, we have been commended as a 'Clean Enterprise', member of the 'Provincial Ten Best Enterprises for Environmental Protection', and various other awards for our environmental record. In the next several years, we aim to adjust our foundation from chloro-alkali products to fine chemicals, and to continue leading the chemical industry by introducing advanced technology and attracting overseas capital. If you are interested in cooperating with us in any way, or have a specific project to complete, please feel welcome to contact us. We hope to have the chance of working with your company soon. |
