We are a small family owned business. We have been in the area for 26 years as missionaries. We have started up a small factory that extracts juice from the Jagua fruit. We only hire Indians from the choco tribe to work in our factory. They are the ones that have been making this product for 100's of years. We might not be that old of a factory but we have the local natives that are experts at extracting juice. If you would like a sample please contact Jason Cook. Our company is environmental friendly all fruit is picked from tree's by hand. We also are planting Jagua plantations So we can keep our cost low to pass the savings on to our clients. Our goal is to make the best natural dye and compete with the synthetic dyes on the market. Also to help the rain forest get back to where it was 20 years ago by planting plantations that will help the rain forest instead of planting tree's for wood. Most people don't know how important the Jagua tree is to the rain forest eco system. The Jagua produces more oxygen than any other tree in the rain forest. It is used for all kinds of medicinal applications with the local Indians. Its used to color hair, Miskito repellent, skin care and temporary tattoos for tribal traditions. Our gaol is not only to help the environment but also preserve the Indian traditions. |
