About | Our company was founded in 1978 under the name of Italcoppie di Noli Ing. Canzio E C. S. N. C.. It began at artisan level employing previous experiences in the field of industrial Instrumentation, especially concerning temperature measurement. In the 1970s process instrumentation was almost intended as instrumentation for heavy industry(i. E. Thermoelectric, petrochemical, mills, nuclear and so on) which particularly in those years had to face a critical period due to the petrol crises. That period introduced the decline of the heavy industry as a means of global development Whereas a new type of industry was promptly growing up, i. E. Light industry such as electronics, plastics, packaging, foodstuffs, pharmaceutical, engine construction and so on. This emerging type of industrialisation had new and up-to-dated requirements which needed new solutions. In the 80s Italcoppie grew up and made a name for itself facing and solving the new needs by transferring and implementing its technological experience gained from the heavy industry towards light industry. At the end of 80s Italcoppie had already gained a recognised leadership in temperature measurement, and both quality and market presence level where very significant in most industrial fields. In 1988 the company changed its name as presently known, i. E. Italcoppie s. R. L.. The initial idea of adapting thermoelement executions to the new requirements made a headway: Other companies are being founded and follow this strategy competing to serve an enormously growing market. The proliferation of temperature sensors widens the market but splits it into too many types of special or customer designed executions. The market situation is simultaneously cause and consequence of the spreading of new companies in the field of temperature measurement. This keeps production from reaching high quantity and homogeneity levels which would be necessary to transform technological productivity in an industrial sense in Order to aim new goals in terms of quality, price and service. The above mentioned statements lead to choices adopted at the beginning of 90s and the out-coming result was a new series of standardised and homogeneous type Of products as shown in our latest issue of our catalogue. |
