| About | IDC; (Izmir Demir Celik Sanayi A. S) . was established in 1975 as to produce long products for domestic and international markets. Modern bar rolling mill and steel melt shop had been commissioned as of 1983 and 1987 respectively. Production is being carried out at Foca plant that covers 500, 000 meter squares, located in Aliaga heavy industrial zone. After the realization of the new investments and revamping projects to improve quality, productivity and technology in 2006 and 2007, the annual production capacities of steel melt shop and bar rolling mill have been increased to 1. 500. 000 ton / year billet and rebars respectively. As one of the leading steel producers and exporters of Turkey via EAF-LF-CCM route as well as with its contemporary production techniques and administrative principles, qualified man power and product quality, strong financial structure, reached annual turnovers and being pioneer in steel technology and culture in Turkey; IDC is among the biggest industrial enterprises of Turkey and Aegean Region.
