Fishing Zone Category: - FAO-51. Yellow Fin Tuna Hand Line Catching Area. EEC (Exclusive Economic Zone) 75 to 200 Miles off show land is the Yellow Fin Tuna Long Line Catching Area Catch Processing. Fishing boats dock at our jetty and the fish is unloaded Weighed, graded and processed immediately. We only process Tuna Loins and H & G or G & G whole fish. The loins are vacuum sealed in polythene bags, weighed labeled and packed in Polystyrene Boxes (19" x 17" x 15") with gel ice. The gross weight of these Is around 30Kg per box. The Whole Fish average upwards of 20Kg are processed and wrapped in a foam Like material and packed in Cardboard Boxes (61" x 18" x 14") with gel ice. The gross weight of these is around 115Kg per box. For U. S. A or some Countries we use Dry Ice depending on the destination.
