| About | Although it has only been established in 2004, the company can trace its root as far back as 1988 as a family company which dealt mainly in advertising material production. In 2003, the company's management was handed down to the family's 2 sons, and before long decided to create Global Sinar Abadi which will better accomodate the current activities outside its original core business. Currently, it focuses on the newly established coal mining and resin production business units. While the coal concessions owned by the company is relatively small in area size, careful approach by the company in selecting concession area has resulted in above average coal quality and yield. Current coal production level stands at around 20,000 metric tonnes per month, with calory level between 6,000 to 6,400 mbtu per tonne. The company is currently in negotiation for acquiring suitable resin plantation. |
