| About | Company Profile Ownership Global Exchange (RNS) is a partnership firm owned by Mr. Satish Uppal and Mr. Rajiv Uppal. It has been exporting ready-made garments since 1982 in the name of Global Exchange RNS and allied proprietary firms of the partners. Product Line We specialize in the export of ladies, children and babies wear. The main items of exports have been blouses, dresses, skirts, pants, rompers, etc. We have been using woven fabrics including cotton, rayon, flex, georgettes, chiffons and blends there of, and also have established a unit for the manufacture of knitted garments. Now we just entered in the field of Ladies evening bags, designer bags, embridered bags and belts and evening wear. We have a wide range of authentic designer bags and belts. Turnover Starting from a modest turnover of INR 1 million in 1982, We have grown at an appreciable rate and have a present turnover exceeding INR 20 million. Employment The total no. Of persons employed by the firm, including labor on contract basis, is approx. 700. We do not employ any child labour. Production capacity We have our factories in the Gurgaon industrial area. These are equipped with the imported (JUKI) stitching machines (approx. 310) . We also have in-house embroidery and cutting machines. Embroidery machines are 80 in no. Washing and finishing is done in-house and we operate from a floor area of approx. 55, 000 square feet. Presently we are producing and shipping approx. 1, 40, 000 woven garments and 30, 000 knitted garments per month. We plan to increase this capacity to 1, 60, 000 units per month as we have been allotted a new factory plot of 1 acre at Sohna industrial area by Haryana government. |
