| About | Our quartzite and kaolin deposit is located at St-Remi d'Amherst about 160 km north of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We get a high quality quartzite in most part of the orebody for many millions tons. Our quartzite is white and not transluscent. It can be use in many kinds of ceramic or concrete for its whiteness and its strength. It can also be used in industrial products like glass, silicium carbide, furnaces, rubber, etc.. . We also get kaolin in another part of the deposit. Kaolin is white or yellow depending of the area. Kaolin is a alumina silicate. Our kaolin is associated white quartzite in a proportion of about 25% kaolin and 75% silica. Kaolin can be used in cement industry. |
