About | Fermentek ltd. Is a young and dynamic company specializing in the research, development and manufacture of biologically active, natural products isolated from microorganisms as well as from other natural sources such as plant and algae. Fermentek produces mainly for the research market. Its main customers are universities and other research institutes. The company main effort is directed at improving the quality and variety of its products. Quality assurance is regularly adapted to the state of art requirements and today several well-known American companies have selected fermentek as their sole supplier of some specific research biochemicals. To fulfill the needs of the researches in the fields of basic biological research as well as drug discovery, our information specialists are constantly screening the research literature for opportunities to develop and manufacture novel and interesting research products. Fermentek has been inspected by the standards institution of Israel and found to comply with the quality management standard ISO 9000:2000. The standards institution of Israel also certifies that the quality system of fermentek complies with the standard Q7A of the fda(active pharmaceutical ingredients). Since 2003, some of our products are manufactured in multi-kg batches and marketed as api to pharmaceutical industry. Our plant has bioreactors(fermentors) of 10,300 and 16500 liter capacity.
