| About | Deves was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1932 and moved operations to the US in 1975 to El Segundo, California. Reaching deep into the rich history of Swedish Metallurgy, Deves was recognized the world over as the leader in manufacturing classic and exotic automotive engine piston rings for an ever-expanding market of classic cars, including most foreign and domestic models as well as motorcycle engines, special racing applications and piston manufacturers. Today, Deves rings and ring sets are still based on the original detailed engineering drawings as well as actual engine specifications. They are manufactured for almost all American and Foreign engines, with some model coverage as far back as 1928. All Deves rings are checked for fit by a specially-designed light-beam microscope: if light doesn't get through, neither will oil.
