About | In 1964, our founder, Ken Dinicola, began his career in the specialty gas field at Air Reduction Research Laboratory in Murray Hill, NJ. While there, and at other companies in the years that followed, he acquired expertise in processes that use liquid-helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, and neon. He manufactured and purified gases, formulated mixtures used to define semiconductor circuits and gas blends used in industry, academia, government, and independent research laboratories. Also in 1964, Ewald Dietz Jr. And Harold Cortese founded the original Cryogenic Rare Gas Laboratories Inc. (CRGL) . Crgl provided, for the first time, the gases Xenon, Krypton, Neon, Argon in commercial quantities by utilizing hot metal getter techniques. In 1981, their paths converged when our founder joined CRGL, where he continued to apply his skills and knowledge to the purification of rare gases, and to the development and preparation of excimer laser gas mixtures. His sons David and Alan Dinicola joined him at CRGL in 1982 and 1984 respectively. One of his notable achievements was the development of a process for blending stable Xenon Chloride excimer laser gas premixes. Stable excimer laser premixes containing fluorine are another area of expertise. Our founder retired from Nova Gas Technologies Inc. In 2003. Encouraged and joined by his son Brian Dinicola, B. S. M. E. E. E. J. D. And his son and former CRGL co-worker Alan Dinicola, B. S. M. S., our founder decided to resurrect the unused corporate name Cryogenic Rare Gas Laboratories Inc. |
