Country chef gourmet foods is a small, newly established food processing company in davao city, the philippines. It manufactures asian and tropical-flavored salad dressings, sauces, appetizers and other gourmet fare. It was just recently established in february 2006 but its products have been noted by the national trade and industry bureau to be of export standards, and is now being strongly encouraged to go into exports. As of this posting, its product lines include 1) bottled gourmet "tuyo" (salted herring flakes in oil) which is used as salad dressing, appetizer/topping (to go with steamed rice, rice noodles, pasta, crackers), and sauce/dip for steamed or grilled vegetables; 2) fruit-flavored dressings/vinaigrettes such as mango, pineapple and others (still in the works). |
