| About | About CTX For over 26 years, Chuntex Electronic Co., Ltd. (CTX for short) has manufactured exceptionally high quality monitors under the name of CTX. In 2003, our monitor sales volume was in the Top-Three in the UK and the Top-Ten in Europe. We have also received countless awards for the excellence of our products, including March PC Advisor (U.K.) Top-10 Flat Displays for S530, PV722E and PV700, and March PC World (USA) Top 1 for VL700. Since our foundation as the first color monitor manufacturer in 1981, we have established ourselves as a Monitor Expert. Specializing in this area has allowed CTX to consistently produce innovative and exceptionally high quality monitors to suit every application and budget. Memorable Events 1981 - CTX was established as the first manufacturer of color monitors 1984 - With US$ 1.8 million of investment, CTX set up American office in Los Angeles. 1985 - Introduced and contracted the EGA monitor for US$ 2 million 1987 - Registered "CTX Chuntex" as a trademark 1989 - Ranked 2nd Fastest Growing Company in Taiwan area, achieving an average annual growth rate of 86%. 1993 - With all the operations of our Thailand-based plant running smoothly, we achieved our production target of 80,000 units a month. At the same time, we became the No. 1 Manufacturer of Color Monitors in Thailand. 1994 - Entered into the World Top-Ten Monitor Producers with a sales volume of USD 1 million. 1995 - World sales volume was up to 1.5 million. 1996 - Achieved the ranking of 43rd Top Company in Taiwan area. 1998 - Shipping quantity broke a staggering 3 million units. 1999 - Set up CTX BVI Corporation in Beijing, China 2000 - CTX introduced 15" TFT LCD monitor 2001 - CTX introduced 17" TFT LCD monitor 2002 - CTX sponsored the Ski Jump World Cup in Willingen on 11 - 13 January; 9 million people saw on TV about the ski world cup 2002 - CTX introduced 19" and 23" TFT LCD monitors. 2003 - CTX introduced M730V LCD monitors. 2004 - CTX introduced P772 and F773 LCD monitors. 2005 - CTX released new products: Dual screen LCD monitor and Ceiling mounted LCD monitor. 2006 - CTX released 17" Touch monitor and X76 & X96 series LCD monitor. 2007 - CTX released X series of LCD monitors, from 15" to 20" with a verity of choices. 2008 - CTX introduced surveillance DVR and Camera to markets.
