| About | Chez Winakabs Europe is a Comminity Interest Company geared towards strengthening the economies of its local communities. Currently, we have operations in the UK and Sierra Leone. In the UK, we have a subsidiary outfit, Commission for the Advancement of African and African-Caribbean People (CAAP) . In Sierra Leone, our subsidiary outfit is Kabia Development Co-operative Trust (KADCOT) in the Lunsar region of Marampa in North-Eastern Sierra Leone. The economic potentials of KADCOT are great as two new mining companies are to be opened in the new year. KADCOT is established for the following reasons: a) To provide educational scholarships and sports facilities for direct and indirect descendants of the Kabia clan in the UK, Sierra Leone and any part of the world descendants of the clan are based; b) To provide training for employment and learning opportunities for socially and economically disadvantaged direct and indirect descendants of the Kabia clan in the UK, Sierra Leone and any part of the world descendants of the clan are based; c) To provide housing, and support services for disadvantaged direct and indirect descendants of the Kabia clan in the UK, Sierra Leone and any part of the world descendants of the clan are based; d) To promote the cultures, traditions and the people of Marampa; History of Marampa Lunsar, the headquarter of Marampa Chiefdom is located about 80km ENE of Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone in West Africa. Marampa has a past history. Life in this region flourished long before the European entered the area. This settlement was a flourishing and prosperous culture in the 14th century B. C. |
