Carnarvon Abattoir is a privately own new E.U.- approved modern abattoir in South Africa. Our location are in the Northern Cape which is the dryer part of South Africa, but also known for the excellant lambsmeat produced on only natural grazing. The sheep race is the Dorper, one of the worlds best meat producing sheep races. Our company was founded in 1996 and all the shareholders are sheep farmers. We have a good domestic market for ouer carcasses, but are doing research for an export market since we have completed a major upgrading on the abattoir. |
